I went to see Bulletproof Monk because sometimes you just need to partake in cinematic fluff. We underestimated its fluff-factor however.

This movie is bad.

Not Train Wreck bad where it's awful but you have to see it.

Not Rental bad. Not Pay-per-view bad. Not free Pay-per-view bad. Not It's 3AM, I'm Cramming for Tomorrow's Test, and I Just Need Some Background Noise bad.

How bad? Toward the end of the movie my lower right eyelid itched. While taking care of that problem my finger slipped and I poked myself in the eye.

I didn't mind.

Personally I am facinated. How can a movie starring Chow Yun Fat be bad?

Heather and I are close to the same shortness...I'm 5'4" and she is 5'6" so I'm usually on tip-toe to kiss her...but height is relative when you are both horizontal, I say...;)

Awwww the snow's all gone :cry:

Well fun at college with it (despite being bloody cold). Only a few inches but you would have thought it was several feet with all the excitement. Lots of snowball fights...great fun. And now it's gone again for another decade or so :(

Still, the g/f's on her way round. So it's all good :D

I feel compelled to share the fact that these cheapo third rate Jelly Babies my mum bought me last week really suck! I mean, WTF! APPLE?? What kind of flavour is apple for a jelly baby? Ugh, it really makes me sick, I'm only eating them because I know she'd feel bad if I just threw them out you understand ;)

Also these sucky mini Bassetts Jelly Babies in Tropical Fruit Flavour really suck too, PINEAPPLE! TANGERINE! CHERRY! EXOTIC FRUITS! LEMON & LIME!!! I mean come on!!! PLEASE!! you'd think Tangerine is like orange, well it's not! It sucks!! I want the original ones next time or else!! :twisted:

Lou, you think that's bad... My brother's girlfriend gave him this bag of gummy bears in this funny, weird spearmint flavour. She thinks they're (get this!) cute because they're some stripey pink and green colour. I mean... Aren't gummy bears suppose to be strictly fruity? Who the hell wants to chomp away at a gummy that tastes like expired bubble gum?

add the two equations...

study + nostudy = nofailure + failure

factor them out...

(1 + no) cancel on each side...

I have been warning you about the dangers of Garden Gnomes. You may remember the cautionary tale I posted here a while back. I am telling you that they are pissed off and dangerous. These dirty little red-hat freaks are preparing to unleash something horrible. I know it! Even Joss has cast them in in his most evil of roles The Cyborg in "Entropy". In Buffy, gnomes are an evil on par with Adam!

They have already secured a base of operations, and have duped humans into supporting their cause.

Some of these hapless humans have gone the route of the PETA folks and totally lost the plot (to use Heather's phrase).
Fortunately There is hope. And in addition there are tutorials on how to eliminate these dangerous squatters.

As many of you know, this year I once again had the opportunity to be an election judge. Here are some recollections and notes of the experience:

First of all, when you screw up, do it as a team. There is nothing more satifying than realising that a dozen people all made the same silly mistake during a 20 minute period. A list of some more observations.

There are a few things you can say to piss us off. We'll be pleasant, but you can rest assured that if you ask us "how do I start voting?" when there is a clearly labeled "start voting" touch button, or "How do I know my vote counts?" we will want to hurt someone.

No, you don't get a paper ballot.

No, we don't issue recipts. But you can have a lovely "I voted/Yo voteo" sticker.

Only Democrats wear berkenstacks.

Yes. We are goofing off in the corner. This would not be a problem if more of you actually voted.

The way you get pictures of people voting is simple: you record election judges pretending to vote.

The polls close at 8. Sharp. Do not show up at 8:02 and ask us if you can vote. Do not repeat the question in the hopes that it will change - or look surprised when we tell you the polls close at 8.

Chocolate donuts mate for life. They must be killed in pairs, or they look at you with sad, depressed eyes.

Anyone who wants the polls open 24 hours on election day, or until midnight, should be summarily shot.

He started off on AI auditions as a sort of joke. But he was so bad he turned out to be utterly hilarious and a total hit.

Now he's landed a recording contract, performed on the Ellen Degeneres show, has been invited back to AI for their 'Uncut, Uncensored and Untalented' segment and his site gets thousands of hits a day. How crazy is that?
