Im a huge cinema fanatic, and I think this summer is proving to be one of the best ever for movie releases. I was just wondering what movies people are looking foward to the most.
Im sure everyone will say "Matrix 2" (which, dont get me wrong, i am totally looking foward to) but to be honest, I am looking more foward to
"The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" It looks so cool. So many awsome characters. I just read the guy Dorion Gray is in it. He does have a striking resemblance to everyone's fav fae Darian Gray (and Let me say again, I had no idea who he was when I made my character pure coincidence)
Anyways whats everyone elses thoughts on the Summer Blockbusters?

the other thing i think of these coming summer blockbusters is that they're more winter blockbusters for me :P

charlie's angels!!!!!!!!! yayyyyyy (lucy liu :P )!!!!!!!!! not to mention the hulk and the league of extraordinary gentlemen (a damn fine comic if anybody really would like to venture in that f'awesome crazy world)...ummm, matrix 2 is a given, but my summer film already came out: x2 (which ive already seen two-times, two-times!!!!!! :D wolvy is da bomb)...the ewan mcgregor-renee zellwegger film...and last but not least, the 2nd or 3rd best film of the summer: me and my bro's film of all-time, rather franchise, T3 (the baddie is a kick-ass chica...much fun :twisted: !!!!!!)...
...there are however, some good-looking independents coming out which im definitely gonna check out...remember, usual suspects and memento were all independent summer films :wink: , so a gem might be found this summer as well

i'd like to finally watch the "enemy of the state"...yes i still haven't watched that movie. Also the lord of the rings and the latest harry potter, also i would like to catch the 6th harry potter book....
umm Xmen2 is definatly one of the first movies i'm going in for, and i just can't wait for the matrix!
I may even catch the latest james bond movie....

Ok, Demi Moore is the villainess in CA2, I am so f-ing there!!
Plan on going to see Wrong Turn, though I have no idea what it is about. But hey, my all-time cutie Jeremy Sisto is in it, and that Eliza Douchebag is in it, too. Sorry Buffettes, she doesn't rock my world. I know, I know. I will pay dearly for that one. YIKES! Don't beat me with your magic kangaroos, Heath! :wink:
Oh, and if you liked Best in Show, y'all have to see A Mighty Wind. It is friggin hysterical. But it has a very very limited release, so act fast!!
And Lord, if I ever get through school (in four more days!!) please allow me the entertainment value of seeing Anger Management, even though I saw Little Nicky, and that was kinda pro-devil. Hehe. [Is it funny if you have an inside joke with yourself(-selves)?!]

Uhm...I'm moving into the cineplex for the remainder of the year. I saw X2 which was so great...mmm, Wolverine. And I just saw Daddy Daycare yesterday, which was much better than I expected it to be. (Went with the son for Mother's Day)
I am going to see Matrix 2 Thursday, and I also can't wait for Pirates of the Carribean and Down with Love and Bruce Almighty and I still want to go see Identity. I will probably take the kids to the new Rugrats movie too. All in all, I think I will be at the movies nonstop for the next three months. Oh, and Jean, we should plan to go to the drive in sometime after you get out of school before your summer classes start or something, k?

Count me in for LB2 I passed on the first one then saw it on cable and was pleasntly pleased at how good it was. Much better than Sweet Home Alabama.
