Ian is tall and wiry, standing at 6'1" (185cm) and weighing 160 lbs (73kg). He has sandy hair and grey eyes. He has an eye for the ladies and isn't averse to a drop or two of whisky (or any other type of alcohol that's going).

BACKGROUND:
Ian was always gifted when it came to electronics. He would often be found tinkering with bits of wiring and circuitry. By the time he reached his teens he had put this talent to use in several petty burglaries. He managed to narrowly avoid a stay in Kingslea Juvenile Detention Centre at sixteen.
In 1996, at age 21, Ian decided to move to the United States. He settled in St. Louis and soon became known as the person to see in relation to electronic security systems. Through sheer brilliance at his work and blind good fortune Ian has maintained his freelance standing, owing allegiance to no gang or group.
He met Natasha Brookes in 2002 when she required his particular ability to enable her to track down a nest of vampires. The two became friends and Tash has since saved Ian's life on more than one occasion. Ian is completely unaware of the existence of vampires and demons, though he has noticed that strange things seem to happen when he's around Tash.

Ian possesses an amazing number of gizmos and gadgets, all designed to help him in his work. He also has a number of fake uniforms and signs that can be stuck to the side of a van. Ian has the ability to make just about any device with little notice and few materials.
