Well, happy belated birthday anyway. Yep, three years (and two days) ago Nick made the first game post in LA By Night, starting us off on a track that had led some of us around the world and all of us to places in our imaginations we never thought we'd visit.
And as a birthday present, we get to have Sid back in the fold and Sherlynn making game posts again. Yippee!!

Y'know I was just thinking about this yesterday, I was convinced it was much longer, three years just doesn't seem enough - strange to say but I can't remember what I used to do with my spare time before LABN... oh yeah I wrote, still doing that :D
It's even stranger because recently I've been going back through the seasons on a little personal nostalgia trip which I tend to do when I start to feel a bit stagnated, it's kinda cool to see how far I've progressed as a writer. For the most of Season One I could barely keep tense in order (ugh, it's kinda horrific to try and read some of that stuff without my eye twitching with the urge to correct, CORRECT!!!) Plus looking back to Season Four I'm staggered by how much I actually wrote (in the region of 145 posts where in past seasons I've barely broken 30!) and I would be happy to say that half of it wasn't too bad. :wink:
Is writing addictive? I'm starting to think so. As for LABN...

I havent been around all the while, but the year and a half that i 'have' been it has really been great. Damn, this is starting to sound like Bilbo's goodbye. :D
On Lou's words, i'm amazed at myself too; I dont know about the writing part, but i surely improved my English!! :D :D
I really approached this game with a lot of insecurities, especially caused by my non-English-speaker condition. I'm sure that if LAbn wouldnt have been so receptive and welcoming i'd have dropped long ago ( 8O i hate conditional sentences) but EVERYBODY HERE IS INCREDIBLY GREAT.

Aww! Everyone seems like such a cool family. You guys, in the short time I've been here, have been quite awesome, and you are truly the Heart of this Super-Buffy. That LABN has been running this long is a testament to creativity and teamwork. I hope I get to know you all better, but in the mean time--let's have some cake!
