Real Name: Dr Jillian Lennon
Nick Name: Jilly, Jill, Dr Lennon
Birth Date & Location: 24th April, 1979 - Oxford, England
Position: Scientist/Biochemist/Lab Technician
Group Affiliation: The Ministry of Magic
DESCRIPTION:
Jillian stands at an average height of 5’6” and has a lean build weighing only 126lbs. She has dark brown hair and eyes of the same colour and a pale complexion from spending too many days indoors. Jillian has a very serious looking face and doesn’t smile very often because she’s normally too busy working on some formulae or experiment. Jillian is a very intelligent and professional woman and likes her attire to reflect this. She usually dresses conservatively, in pants and a shirt with sensible flat shoes and is not normally seen without wearing her lab coat (which always seems to swamp her slight frame).
Though Jillian has always been very scholastically apt, she has never really felt comfortable in social situations, preferring to spend her spare time studying or in her lab than going out on dates or partying. As a result she is something of a loner and doesn’t make friends easily though she is well-respected in academic circles and the scientific world.
(Jillian is played by Jorja Fox)
BACKGROUND:
Jillian was born into an ordinary middle-class family in Oxford where her mother and father still live along with her younger brother Mikey. She had an average childhood though she was a shy and introverted child and as a result never forged any lasting friendships outside of her family.
Instead, Jillian poured her energy and enthusiasm into her studies and has always been a straight-A student and would view it as a serious failure to get any other grade. Outside of studying, Jillian’s only other passion was riding her horse Toffee, whom she’s had from being only twelve-years-old.
At the age of 17, Jillian went on to study chemistry and physics at college and was lucky enough to win a scholarship to study Biochemistry at the University of Oxford where she was to spend the next five years of her life. As always, Jillian was a diligent and devoted student, never skipping a lecture and passing every exam with flying colours.
It was during this time that her mother developed breast cancer. Jillian was distraught, especially since she and her mother had always been terribly close. Throughout her treatment, Jillian continued her studies but her spare time was devoted to researching the validity of ‘alternative’ medicine, including acupuncture, herbalism and meditation. Though her mother was eventually cured, Jillian continued to study independently in this field and had several research papers published, attracting much attention in scientific circles.
It was while studying the final year for her PhD that Jillian met a man called Aron Keller, a lecturer in ancient mythology at the University. The man took an active interest in her research, aiding her where he could and becoming something of a friend to the lonely girl.
Two days after graduation, Keller came to Jillian’s flat and seduced her. At the age of 24 the girl was still a virgin and also extremely enamoured with the enigmatic Aron Keller and the two embarked on a fleeting sexual affair for the next few months. It was soon afterwards that Keller introduced her to a group of his friends whom were exceedingly interested in Jillian’s work and were interested in recruiting her into a covert government operation called The Ministry.
Jillian hasn’t been seen or heard from since the night she went to meet Keller’s friends and for all intents and purposes she is supposed to be dead. Her family held a funeral service for her on 24th June 2005 after resigning themselves to the fact that they would never see their daughter again.
In 2007, Jillian was conscripted to work undercover at The Coven of Sindell. While there she met and made friends with Catherine Eldridge and helped her to find a cure for the Hyde virus.
