Alice turns on the Slayer, paving the way for Darian and then Kyle to take Ana on, while Ryan forges a path to Delancre.
{p37#549} Oz flies Maia to safety, Cole breaks cover to help a mortally-wounded Kyle defeat Ana, and Ryan meets his match in Delancre. Delancre, in turn, is bested by Alessa, and Marcus takes a terrible vengeance upon Delancre's soul.
{p37#550} With Delancre and Ana both dead the mopping up begins - and counting up the losses.
