well, once you've snet off your bio (like the name! :) ) Then MrDave (the big man who runs things) will eventually post up ur bio and peeps will reply (or not) and he'll see how peeps like ur bio. If there are no objections, then he'll let u register on the board and then u can get ur bio up.
WHat's ur MSN? then u can talk to peeps like heather/tash, or MrDave/Victor or even me!
Good Luck!

Also...
The current game season has now finished, the second season will begin on the 6th August. However the mid season is running for one-off posts, solo's, creative fiction and unrelated fiction.
But why not take this interim period to get better aquainted with other players, the last season events, and refining your character application..?
Nice to see a new face :)
confusion
I just read the rules to the mid-season. Sorry, I missed them.
I was so absorbed in getting Sam and his complicated plot-line going, I didn't notice that "over-arching" plots were not wanted.
But, on the plus side, I can slow things down now, now that I feel that I've laid the groundwork for my entering Season 2.
questions about mid-season
I wonder, does that mean we should keep the stories one-shots? Cause I have sort of big plans for the next 6 weeks or so. Does it just apply to plots involving other people? Can we still do collabs if we want to?
confusion
I think basically we don't want to end up with another season one problem, ie, having to wait until everyone finishes their Mid-season stuff before we can start season 2!
I know lots of other players have a 'mini-plot' that they want to do in the mid-season and i don't see any problem with that so long as they can have it finished and have their character in place for season 2 on August 6th.
Mid-season shouldn't be as complicated as In-Season, at least that means we don't have to follow every single day through to the last hour in the way that we have been doing IN-Season.
Dave didn't mention doing collaborative posts - only solo's but i don't see why that should be if a few players want to get together and write something (Hell I ALREADY have twice!)
Basically we just don't want to end up with the same complex issues and story threads as an IN-Season game. So NO big mid-season finale's. And obviously - just to rehiterate,
ALL MID-SEASON STORY LINES SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY THE START OF THE NEW SEASON ON AUGUST 6TH :D
confusion
Thank you, kind lady, for clarifying that. *Curtsies*
confusion
I took the midseason as an opportunity to plant storylines that would continue into Season two and three. One can take the backburner and will grow. The other will be what is necessary for Sam's movements when August begins.
Your comments worried me, so I feel the need to make excuses. I think they're good excuses, though.
confusion
I'm not giving an official line on what must be - simply stating things as i see them. Obviously Mid season 'mini-plots' - if anyone has them, have to be finished - or left in a state where they can be easily picked back up in season 2 by August 6th because I suspect we won't be extending the mid-season period to accomodate people who fall behind (they'd just have to make up and excuse or something to cover their absence.)
As I see it the Mid Season ties up all the loose ends from season one, includes any mini-plots that players want to introduce - and sets up the play to resume in season 2.
confusion
There is no "Rule" for any of this stuff...
We are the writing staff of a television series. The Mid-season is for specials and teasers, and movies and mini-series and series pilots and all of that stuff....
But when season 2 starts we need to decide what stays and what goes and how it will "roll out" for the public.
I say play fast and loose with your character but when season 2 opens the characters will be brought in wherever they are to LA for the story...
Of course we will keep the Midseason forum open an extra month (and I think this will become standard practice...to overlap the forums a month) so you can tie up loose ends by the season 2 dates.
The analogy of "The Writing staff" is a sound one... and theis is the show we produce. Lets top our season One with a rousing Season 2!

In other words: instead of blowning up ONE floor of the building, let's blow up the ENTIRE building! :D
confusion
We are going to have trouble maintaining a low profile if we keep blowing things up. I have that same problem in my Shadowrun group. Is it me?
