The Order of Death

The exact time when this Order was constructed is unknown, but it is known that it was slowly created after the feud between the Macabres and the Koolangs got worse. The Macabres, a blood thirsty revenge driven group of demons grew angry day by day to even think that Koolangs, those who had “stolen” their powers, which should belong to them, now belonged to a race that looked human. This was too much to handle and in the olden days, just about a millennia ago, the Macabres would slaughter the Koolangs in almost Medieval fashion; chopping their heads of, surgically removing their power points, such as the brain, or the eyes, or the heart, that they thought that their power lay.

The Macabres found power among themselves in numbers, and before when they were a group of Kumacs, one body two souls, they seemed to be at peace with a counterpart. Now they seemed to be a bit lost individually, however this feeling didn’t decrease the hatred they felt for the Koolangs, but only increased it. Slowly, they became a group, a family, taking much care of each other. The Order of Death was formed and named so because to the Macabres they brought Death, mostly to the Koolangs, but also anyone who stood in the way of them achieving that.

There was no “head” of the council, but a small group that led it, the council called the K’kya. The K’kya had ten members and each one was responsible for the well being of the Order, and before they were taken in the K’kya, they had to take a vow to that. The Order main mission was to get rid of every single Koolang on the face of the Earth. There other concerns were to protect the Macabres, make sure every Macabre had the best living standard. Sort of like a Macabre government.

Every Macabre is automatically a part of the Order, and the Order also searches for any lost Macabres, if they have hint of any. Among themselves they are a peaceful race, never having dispute, among themselves, but to the Koolangs they are quite the opposite.
