Aurelius is one of the oldest vampires of which there is a reliable historical record. His existance has spawned a host of extraordinary vampires and has on more than one occasion influenced world events.
The fact that two soulled vampires, two hybrids, two ancients, four Elders, a prophet, and a number of vampires of influence came from the line of a single vampire (who was himself gifted with prophesies)
Aurelius is known to have directly sired two Ancient vampires: The Master (Heinrich Joseph Nest), and Dathan. The final fate of Aurelius is unknown.
Of the two lines, there is less information about Dathan and his brood. The Master's offspring is a complex tangle of incestuous connections(particularly concerning Darla).

It looks fantastic, and will be damned handy. But... I think you need to make the split to Ancient a little older. I was under the impression it was more like 2000 to 2500 before a vampire was considered ancient.
And Janey & Maggie... I'm not sure it was ever decided who their sire was. If it was Nicholas, that leads to a problem because that would mean they'd have combusted on the 31st.
You could also add Samantha as a direct child of Valerian's. He made her in MidSeason One, I think.

Ñaña was the name that the Guaranís gave to Dathan, so it isn't another vampire but the one and same. Unless you meant by that the rest of the vampires that lived in the Garganta del Diablo.
Morris wasnt sired by Dathan himself but he belongs to his line nonetheless, since he was turned by his minions. (but now that I study your tree again I think that's what you meant by those dot lines :D)
And he wasnt dusted by Sorrow's spell because he was helping with the protective magic barrier, that protected him too. (I want him alive :wink: )

The Ñaña of Garganta del Diablo were the vampires that were trapped there by the flower, since that is the name the old shaman gave them.

RE: Janie and Maggie and Dathan's Line.
It isn't clear that Janie and Maggie are part of Dathan's line. I have put them in there speculatively. The problem is, if they don't have something in their background that severs them from his line, then they will be dusted at the end of season three.
Morris survived, and it is conceiveable that others may survive as well, but I am not sure how. Did Janie and Maggie recieve any benefit from being of Dathan's line (the slayer-boosts)? If not, then they may not be related. Although it is pretty clear that Dathan is responsible for most of the Aztec vampirism, he certainly isn't responsible for all of it.

That factoid never made it into the Buffy canon, but was a side-note from the co-writer of the Welcome to the Hellmouth pt II episode (not even Joss).
As a result, Valerian was written as the childe of The Master and Valerian is well over 1500 years old. So the master had to be older. We left it up in the air how much older until the Brotherhood storyline this Season where we created Dathan who was obscenely old and a broodmate of The Master. This made the Master of comparable age for our purposes.
So we have take some literary licence with The Master's line (including making Angel insane) for the purposes of our story.

Ok, just asking. I dont recall ever hearing that on the show as you said, just seeing it on the net somewhere. Either way It makes sense haveing him that old since he was as powerful as he was.
