Did anyone do a Word backup of La By Night Season 2 or Midseason 2?
I'd like to do "print versions" of these two series to add to the collection.
I may have to create one myself :blowup: Let me know if you have a copy I can convert.
Anyone want to volunteer to do a "summary" of Season 1, Midseason 1 and Season 2 for new players? I was thinking of something about 2 pages or so for each season. This would be used in concert with the Timeline for key events to quickly catch players up.
Updated your character profile lately? You might consider it after the sweeping changes of the last season and midseason. You might consider writing a "season by season" update section.

Happiness and peace amongst the characters is disturbed by the ever-present darkness that fills LA By Night. Victor, Tash, Reah, Darian, Nikolai, and Alice all get drawn through an interdimensional portal. The Brotherhood, a cadre of Elder and Ancient vampires descends on LA to work unspeakable evil. And the world turns upside down to accomodate sweeping changes in the balance of power in the LA underworld.
- Newly chosen Slayer Ellie discovers she is chosen by the forces of evil as well as the forces of light.
- The interdimensional expedition may be there for a nobel cause, but to them it feels as if they are left with few choices.
- Alessa and Chance experience the joy of blossoming romance in the creeping shadow of evil.
- Daye and Kate bask in the glow of two extraordinary births, but can they protect their children from the gathering storm
- Sorrow and the Society of Ulle disagree on his handling of the Xavier affair. Sorrow is boxed in by his duty to LA and his role as Huntmaster.
- Tarix discovered her past but she struggles to reconcile who she was with who she wants to be.

Well, what do you know...I might be able to help you there! I have the first 15 pages of the gameboard from season 2 as a word format...but when i mean of the game board i mean "select all...copy...paste" ie it has this sort of thing:
scattered through it so if you wanted to use it you'd have to go through and delete it all :? (i planned to do that as I read it...as you could probably tell i never got that far. It seemed too much like hard work :P)...any good?

Ya it's a bugger isn't it Matt? I had to delete all that stuff when I did the first two print versions, it takes much longer than you'd imagine, :? I had probably half of season two all editted into word and then I think my comp crashed or the file got a virus, anyway I remember something BAD happened and I lost it *sniff* after that I couldn't be bothered to do it all again.

Actually I am most of the way through editing the over 1000 pages of Season Two (3 columns 9 point type, narrow margins) in Word Format and will post it as soon as it is done. It will be available in PDF Format and (for a limited time) in Word Format as well.
Once all the revisions, fixes, suggestions and stuff has been recieved I'll remove the word file (its over 10 mb!) andleave the uneditable PDF file.
Midseason Two should not take as long (I hope I hope) as Season Two has...and Season Three will be in Two editions detailing the Brotherhood and the G'Rnathan Expedition seperately.
Look for them before the end of the year.

Well, Dave, since the year already went by...
I have the complete Season 3 and Mid Season 3 in word files, and i'm systematically pasting Season 4 the same way (clean copy, only character name, date and subject). When i finish i'll let you know.
If you want them, or anybody else wants them, just let me know. :D

In that year I got married, bought a house, and have generally had a lot of craziness going on. Its not much of a wonder that things are a little nuts.
Email me the word files and I'll put them on as Word and PDF files on the appropriate folder on the server for download.
I can put the Word file I have there as well (If it is fit to publish).
Amanda keep plugging away at season 4. Please. It will still take less time to do it that way than to have someone try to do it from scratch.
I have no idea how many pages total this amounts to (not to mention words) but it definately rivals the longest of the 'fantasy series' of books like Gor, Xanth, Thomas Covenant, Dragonlance, and more I can't seem to recall. An amazing achievement. It means that any ONE of us could have written a complete novel. Even if it took us 2 years to do it.

Ya I wouldent be suprised if we end up close to the length of Dragon lance. Which is like 125+ books at this point with more coming out lol.
Sadly I own every dragonlance book except like the last 3 months worth. Havent read even half but I own a whole lot lol.

Well, Season three is a 503 pages file, and Midseason three is 605 pages. And i'm talking A4, point 9 font, with most of the pictures smaller than in the boards too. :D
