bdate: Matthias was born near what has become Southampton, England, on 06/29/1102.
descript: Above average height with a medium build that hides powerful muscles. Fit and healthy, if a little thin. Dark hair, brown eyes.
history: Born on June 29, 1102 CE to a tribe in England. The village was attacked by vampires and Matthias was forced to flee at fifteen. He arrived in France two years later and was taken in by a monk. The monk was one of the original nine that a year later formed the Knights Templar. Soon Matthias became one himself. But in 1125, at the age of twenty-three, he stumbled upon a dark cult in Germany and was imprisoned. For months Matthias was tortured but after two years the cult, following the instructions of their mysterious diety, possessed the poor Knight with a demon. For the next two-hundred years the demon-Knight went on a rampage across Europe. His reign of terror came to an end in 1307 when a group of Frenchmen, under order of their King, took the Matthias-demon as evidence of the Knights Templar’s heresy. The demon lent Matthias not only his power, but a touch of its immortality. Though Matthias does not age, he can be killed. He has been employed by both the Spanish and French Inquisition and has briefly worked for the Watchers Council. However, in 2005 Matthias went missing, for reasons unkown. He was last known to have been in Russia. Many fear him dead.
But infact Matthias had discovered a sinsiter plot that, just by knowing about it, threatened his existence. For reasons known only to him, he beleived the best way to hide was too wipe his memory clean and create a new life.
Thus Felix was born; a twenty-something year old whose fictitous parents, an American news reporter and British Royal Navy sailor, were killed by vampires when he was supposedly fifteen. Since then he has travelled all round the world searching for his parents killers. He beleives them to be in L.A.

powers: Currently unkown to him Felix is the demon-Knight Templar Matthias. Creating the Felix persona to hide from some threat, whatever that might be, Matthias believes he is safe. Felix benefits from the demons strength, but he is not as strong as Matthias was, for the power that comes to him from the demon is second-hand. Like the Russian doll system. Within Felix is Matthias, within Matthias is the demon. Most of the power Felix has he must be taught to use. An undeveloped sixth-sense gives Felix an advantage in vampire-hunting, but it sometimes deserts him when he needs it the most, and he never truly relies upon it. Whether Felix is immortal only time will tell.
player: 16 year-old Brit just starting college. Love Buffy and Angel, can’t get enough of it. Love RPG’s aswell(my passion is greater than my skill though, so you’ll have to bare with me). I have a deep interest in History, so wanted my character to be old…but I’m also very patriotic so he had to be a Brit! Ummm…don’t know what else to say, really. Felix’s personality is based more or less on mine, whilst Matthias is one of those tragic heroes that everyone wants to be but never aspires to. Will Felix remeber his true identity? Who knows?
