descript: Clara is 5'9", she is small and is often ignored. As a journalist that is not a good thing. The stress lines on her forehead take away her stunning beatiful looks. Her eyes once chocolate brown were hidden in the dark bags of deprived sleep. What used to be a smile was no longer. Her career had taken it from her along with her charecter. She is seen in unflattering trousers, a white shirt and a black overcoat.
history: Clara born into a average family, had an average life. No vampires or demons not even a murderer around. Her teen years were how any girl would wish it. With her mother being a hairdresser and her father being a lawyer. She was rich and beautiful, so naturally she was crowned prom queen.
She left home when she was 21, she left her home town of Boston and travelled to New york to persue her career, for as long as she could remember she wanted to be a journalist. Things began to fall into place, she had a great apartment, great stories, great life. The affair with the editor had nothing to do with it, it was purely luck!
It was one night as she was going to get yet another top story about a triple murder. This was where things get bad, her luck had finally run out.
By late evening, Clara had got the story. Feeling chuffed with herself she went to the bus stop thinking of the next headline.
Waiting for the bus, It began to rain. 'Typical' she thought has she thumbled for her umbrella. when she looked up she saw a group of dark figured men. These men had something wrong with there faces, when Clara was young she was taught never to stare. She took a step back as though to let them pass. They did not move, then someone from behind her pushed her to the ground. She thought she was dead when she saw a dark figure jump from the roof of a building to the road where the men stood. It was as though it moved with the darkness.With her face covered in mud she looked up and saw the dark thing take on these men, with one hit, the men were thrown into the sky.
Clara felt a force pull her from the floor, she looked round and the dark figure vanished. She was blinded by the headlights of a bus. Still unsure of what had happened she got on and saw the figure one last time before it blended in with the darkness.
No body sane beleived her, she tried to print the story but the editor rejected it. He almost fired her twice but he felt sorry for her and gave her some time off. She spends most of her time at that bus stop waiting for the figure to come. Nthing will get in her way of exposing this figure as a freak.
items: Clara is always with her black note book and her camera. Her note book is overflowing with post-its and old newspaper articles, that remind her of her life before.

There is a lot here to like:
-- She's not a powerhouse, in fact, she's quite human
-- As a reporter she is naturally Inquisitive.
-- She has a good background as well as some hooks to play off of (like the worn down beauty-queen appearance)
-- As a friend of Hannah and Alice I am willing to say yes since they know what it takes to play and can help
-- Boston, New York and now LA, this girl is very familiar with Urban scenes.
All around its good. I say bring it on.

Have known Tania for just under a year, and although Alice knows her a little better, she is a wonderful person. SHe wrote quite a compelling short story for English, and I am certain she has the potential for an LABN player. Note: she submitted a character a while back, last mid season poss, an elemental witch called Solar. She recieved good comments, but was rejected because of the many witched already playing. I say YES! We could do with some one like a reporter who could just run up everywhere. happies!
