Description: Tall and lithe, Zastra is built like an athlete. She has light purple skin with darker bluish markings. Zastra was born without the cranial horns unique to the Zabrak and as a result was an outcast among her people from birth.
Homeworld: Zabrak
History: Born on the Zabrak homeworld, Zastra was an outcast from birth due to her complete lack of cranial horns. She was sold into slavery by her parents as soon as possible and has not returned to her homeworld since. As a slave, Zastra learned to be tough and learned to be very subtle and secretive in anything she did of her own initiative. Despite murdering at least two of her owners – perhaps more – she was unable to free herself from a life of servitude. Eventually, she found herself in the possession of a particularly cruel captain in the Republic battle fleet. Regular beatings left her near death several times and when she wasn’t being beaten, her owner was renting her out by the night to his comrades. Shortly after the establishment of the Empire, Zastra’s owner crossed paths with Zod Severus. Zastra was captivated by Severus, by his strong will and his quick mind. She instantly saw him as someone truly worthy of her admiration and loyalty. These feelings doubled when Severus walked in on a particularly harsh beating being given Zastra by her owner and promptly snapped the man’s neck. Zastra immediately pledged her allegiance to Severus – Severus himself, not the Empire – and she has served him ever since. Though she is seen by everyone as a slave of Severus, this is not entirely accurate, as she is in his service by her own choice and he does not treat her as a slave. Though there are rumours that Zastra provides additional “services” to Severus, such rumours are rarely spoken aloud as they tend to invite large amounts of physical pain. Severus frequently has to restrain Zastra’s more vicious impulses.
Politics: Though Zastra is not fond of the Empire’s increasing xenophobia, she, like her master Severus, is a strong supporter of centralized rule.
Items: Numerous types of weapon, but her favourite is a vibroknife equipped with a poison injector.
Abilites: Years of slavery have made Zastra very skilled in the art of deception. Additionally, Severus has had her mercilessly trained in several forms of hand-to-hand combat to the point that she is an expert in several and highly skilled in others.
