G'day mates! Well I'm headed off to where beer does flow and men do chunder. Don't ask me what chunder means because I couldn't tell you. Anyways, I shall be mingling with members of Parliament, foreign service officers, babes of the Australian type, and fellow rugby fans (during Super 12 Playoffs too!). See you cats on the 25th, or whenever I recover from jetlag. May the Force be with Y'all. That's right, I just rednecked that saying.

It means to spew. :)

And in case that's an Aussie-only term as well, try:

vomit
throw up
drive the porcelain bus
technicolour yawn
hurl
ralph
heave
retch
barf

...I'm sure you get the idea. :)

Hey! Welcome Back! Was it fabulous? BTW, whereabouts did you go cos my Aunt and Cousin are about to head off to Sydney to see my Sister and I was just wondering how things were climate wise? Apart from the hordes of giant crabs or whatever they were invading Melbourne :? :?

First was Canberra (dead town, nice people...just...not a very happenin nightlife). Then Sydney, and then Cairns. Sydney was alright, pretty mild with some showers. Cairns was beautiful, no rain, clear skies and warm. I've got a bunch of pics that I should be uploading to a site, but I'm feelin lazy right now so I'll get to it later.

Yeah, this time of year Queensland's the place to be. It's our Florida - in winter (June, July, August) everyone travels north. :)

Unless you're weird like Adam and like it cold and rainy. Then you'd hang about in Sydney or Melbourne or even Tasmania if you want a really miserable winter. They're the places you go to in summer when the wet's on in Queensland and places like Cairns becomes hell-holes.

Yeah, my sister said the weather was rotten this time of year in Sydney. But my Aunt's pretty crazy, I can see her turning up at the airport in a pair of cut-offs and a halter regardless :?

If she's heading to NSW, instead of staying in Sydney this time of year she'd be better off heading a little north to someplace like Coffs Harbour. It's a lovely little resort town on the sea, and has mountains nearby. There are plenty of tours and things 'cause it's a popular tourist spot. And it's just far enough north (still in NSW) so that you don't get the cold and the damp so much. I've been swimming in the sea at Coffs Harbour in June (think December, all you northern hemisphere people), so it's quite decent.

Yeah, I know I said I'd be back, but I'm preoccupied with getting myself reelected over at USGovsim (where Adam is also an Admin). It'll be over in a couple of days. I've pretty much got my first post thought out, I just need to outline it and write it. I'll see you guys in a few days.

btw, go Crusaders and All Blacks!
