Ric Falconi is a darkly handsome young man with a natural grace, but also an ingrained arrogance. He has dark brown wavy hair and dark brown eyes. He is good looking with a dangerous, arrogant edge. He usually dresses in jeans, t-shirts, and a battered black leather jacket. Ric is set to inherit millions when his father passes away.
Ric resents his parents very much. His father built a corporation from the ground up, starting with a couple of bars and eventually owning 5 of the most lucrative resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. Vincent Falconi has ties to organized crime and practices some very unscrupulous business. Ric is aware of his father’s crimes, but he gained a deep sense of honor from his mother, Jhenna. Jhenna Falconi is something of a mystery. She is very youthful and beautiful, but there is something unusual about her. However, she is Ric’s whole world.
Ric found out about his powers when he was 21 years old. That’s when he discovered that he could turn his luck by will. Up until that point, Ric just thought he was really lucky. When Ric told his mother, she revealed to him that she was not surprised. Jhenna told Ric that she was not “normal” either, but refused to explain. Ric has been angry with her ever since.
Ric assumed the identity of a costumed “hero” to tick off his parents. He helps people, but he is extremely violent with the criminals he has apprehended, and he has used his powers for his own selfish gain many times.
Blackjack has only made appearances in Las Vegas. Ric has decided to come to Washington D.C. for the World Conference because he figures there might be some fun to be found in the tense city.
As Blackjack, Ric wears a classic cowboy’s garb all in black. He carries a bullwhip and is proficient with it as well as with a firearm.
