ok ok...these are not so much riddles, but more along the lines of a "who am i" type game...where people list clues and we try to figure out who it is...im going for something along the lines of obscure clues, like not the obvious ones, e.g. i prowl rooftops, or i like bats :? ...so here goes, ill give it a shot
here's a nod to one of my fave characters, its probably an evident one but what the hey...

Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Is that THE HULK!?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
no...the DC marks should get this one :P
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Is it Azrael?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
I say Etrigan
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
I say... Raven of Teen Titans!!!
not that I know a thing about the character, but I heard she had to always meditate and keep her emotions under control or else something bad would happen (or something like that).
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
bingo...Joe/Icon got it right :P ...it is after all Jason Blood aka the Demon Etrigan, master of the dark arts and his inner demon...btw, there's a new mini-series out in September called The Demon: Driven Out
ur turn Joe
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
"Look Mambo, it’s not dat I don’t want to repay you and all, but revenge ain’t ‘sactly my area of expertise. Heartbreak, yes…revenge, no. Now you want I should steal somethin’?"
Heather loves this guy...
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Gambit?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Oh, of course Gambit! Yes, I love him... that accent - ROWR. Mind you, they changed voice actors in 5th Season X-Men and I didn't like the new voice. :(
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Well, Heather tells me I have to post a new one. So, let's see..... this is a group. :)
"I can't think of anything to say in this panel. Take care of him, [snip]."
"I've been authorised by the jurisdiction of whatever city this is to punish you in whatever way I can think of."
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Easy one, Adam. Sam and Max. :)
This one's probably just as easy, but with my limited comic character knowledge one can only do one's best.
Things this superhero might say:
"I am the front line in a never-ending battle between Good and Not-So-Good."
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Clearly the Tick...and if it isn't is should be.
"That's right you little bastard, run! You'll lead me right to him. Why are all these people staring at me? Maybe because to them it looks like I'm chasing a harmless little old granny. But I know better. I know that it is a pawn of the evil Mr. Gone: a serial rapist and murderer who will surely destroy the city unless I stop him first. Or maybe they're all staring at me because I may have just said that all out loud. Crap."
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
LOL That has GOT to be The Maxx.
And yes, you were right. Mine was The Tick. :D
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Who Am I?
An intellectual pinhead, I love swinging my axe indiscriminately. Once I decapitated nearly all the guests at my surprise birthday party.
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Not even any guesses? Does anyone want more clues?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Queen of Hearts?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Sorry, not even close...
Ok, another clue... the 'pinhead' remark can be taken quite literally, when you see this character drawn.
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
it's not Pinhead from the Hellraiser series, is it? unless they made a comic book series out of it :?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Nope, nope. This is most definitely a comic book character. So far as I know there has never been a tv show (or, God forbid, a movie) made about him...
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
k, i read somewhere about someone who looked like a pinhead...is it Zippy????
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Uh, who the heck is Zippy?
That would be a 'no'.
Hmm, ok, obviously more clues are needed.
This character appeared for many years in the pages of the small pale one. :)
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
*bangs head on desk* I feel like I've killed this thread. Guys, I'm probably the least-read among you comics-wise. Some of you MUST have read this.
Ok... BIG clues now. The 'small pale' one is White Dwarf magazine... We're talking pinhead barbarian with a big axe. If nobody gets it now I'm going to label you all philistines. :)
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Conan?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
*giggles insanely*
No.
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Ok, is it uhm... Gor or something like that?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
So far as I know, Gor was a set of novels. Though maybe someone made a comic out of it...
No. Not Gor.
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
er... Heather... I have absolutely no idea. But nobody else seems to either...
so mabye you can give us the answer, maybe? (unless anybody objects).
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
I'll do almost as well - I'll show him to you. He was born in White Dwarf (UK's Games Workshop magazine, back when it actually dealt with roleplaying as much as wargaming) in 1981, fathered by Carl Critchlow. He spends a significant amount of his time in his favourite pub, the Hobbit's Armpit. And here he is...
Now all you guys need to do is supply his name. :) Some of you must have seen him, even if this never made it to the US. I told Dave who he was and Dave had never heard of him, even though he'd been collecting White Dwarf for as long as they've been here in America - but that was only from the nineties. *sigh* But you English types must have a clue, at least. C'mon Robin - you're of the right era.
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Could you pic anyone more obscure :D
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Apparently not, Shaun...
I really thought you guys would get this easily. I'm just showing my age, I suppose. I know Robin knows the answer, because when I pointed out that this thread existed he came back and said "oh, that's xxx". And he was spot on. But he refuses to answer the question on the grounds that he doesn't have a suitable replacement.
So, as official thread-killer, I hereby give you guys the answer and will leave it open to whoever wants to post a new question to do so. I think I'll just go get my walking frame and toddle off to bingo. :D
Thrud the Barbarian
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Ok im going to step up and hopefully it wont be as hard as Heather's.
Im really really smart, however my biggest flaw is my impatience. Had I waited alittle longer for things to cool off, I might not be such an elephant man.
Its actually pretty easy.
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Beast from the X-men?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Oh! Of course... Thrud... I know... who that is... of course...
And Shaun's is... THE HULK! Actually, I'm just randomly guessing.
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Nope to Beast,
and Nope to the Hulk
Guess again :D
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
rEEd richaRdS?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)

Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)

Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)

Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)

Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)

Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
nobody wants to guess????? :(
ok ok, here's a clue which i think will give it away...remember the first 2
"love is blind"
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Gee I dunno Ric, but knowing you it's probably some Daredevil shmo, so I'm going for
Bullseye
I suppose that COULD be a funky food, if you're into offel that is :?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
grrrrrrr, it aint it...ahem, bullseye would be missing a few assets if it were my character :P
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
OHHHHHH is it Electra cause her real name sounds like Nachos?
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
hehehe, cant get any marvel people past shaun...it is in fact Elektra Natchios, whose signature weapons are sais and is one of Daredevil's few loves
Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Ok So heres my next Mystery person..(again, very easy) so ill start off pretty vague

Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That (Comic Book Quotes Game)
Siblings... simblings... don't know that many siblings... so i'll take a random guess and the first siblings I can think of are
