17. Been to another continent? I have been to Europe twice

18. Ever vandalized something? Yes (forget the details!)

19. Loved somebody so much it made you cry? Yes. I still do love her.

20. Been in a car accident? Too often. I was involved in the first one at 9 mos old. And I have been in 6 over the course of my life. I have been fortunate to avoid injury, and I was only driving the vehicle in two of them.

21. Croutons or bacon bits? Both (why ask?)

22. Favorite Game (not LABN!)? I am still a D&D fanatic. I love the new system and have been playing various incarnations of the game since 1975. I still play (although not very regularly)

23. Favourite Movie? Monty Python and the Holy Grail. No other film has colored my language, life, humor, or outlook like this film.

24. Favorite Holiday? The last saturday in April is the Southern Maryland Celtic Festival and Highland Gathering. I volunteer every year and work to complete exhaustion. Its always a great time.

25. Favorite day of the week? Sunday. It is my day of renewal. Whether it is spiritual, physical, or mental, I get recharged on Sunday more than any other day.

26. Favorite word or phrase? I don't really have one.

27. Favorite book? THis will sound trite, but The Bible. I have read more literature on that book than any other. Tretices, transalations, exegesis, analysis, criticism and study. While it is not the most riviting book ever written it factors into my life pretty strongly.

28. Favorite Restaurant? The Mexican Cafe

29. Favorite Flowers? Carnations

30. Favorite Drink? Margaritas (from the Mexican Cafe)

31. Favorite sport to watch? Football (American Football that is) on TV and Baseball in the stadium

36. When was your last hospital visit? October 2001 (for Pneumonia and exhaustion and high blood pressure).

38. How many times did you fail your drivers test? Never...aced it both times

40. Have you ever been convicted of a crime? Yes. Traffic violations as well as a felony PBJ (probation before judgement - sort of like a pause on the trial) for explosive possession and transportation.

41. Which item would you max out your credit card to buy? A new Laptop

42. What do you do most often when you are bored? Watch TV

43. Name the person that you are friends with that lives the farthest? Heather (although at the moment, April is farther)

44. Most annoying thing people ask me? "Do you have a minute? Are you Busy?" THe answer is always NO! and YES! I stay busy and people insist on interrupting me with more things to do.

45. Bedtime? Between Midnight and 1am most nights.

I like everyone on this board (really, very much), but until somebody sends me a birthday card, we can't really be friends. :) However, I've spent more time in your company over the last week or so than I've spent with James in YEARS. OK, here goes again. It'll be interesting to see how much has changed for me since I did this a few months back. (And, Dave, it was actually me who introduced this to the board, but I'm not a terribly vindictive woman so you'll only be paying for that slip for a couple of years....)

12. How much do you love your job? I work for myself, and I love the lifestyle that goes with that. I also like the feeling when people get off the table and tell me they feel great 'cause they can move that neck/shoulder etc... (I'm a Massage Therapist).

14. Hometown? Melbourne, Australia (though I spent from 6 to 18 growing up in Warrnambool, so in lots of ways that feels like my hometown).

18. Ever vandalized something? Got pissed off once when I was about 8 and destroyed one of my Mum's plants...

20. Been in a car accident? Yes, but nothing major. Totalled one car when a tow-truck (of all things) ran up my arse at a red light... but no personal damage.

lol,

"milanesas" are slices of beef that are passed first through beaten eggs and then through flour or breadcrumbs and fried until they are golden and delicious. You put lemon on them too. My mouth waters thinking about them, I missed lunch today! :roll: They supposedly come from Milan, in my country we have a strong Italian heritage and our cooking shows it.
