Adriana is 24 years old with long dark brown hair that she normally wears pinned up on her head in a tangle of braids. She has dark brown eyes and an olive skinned complexion. Adriana has a toned yet lean physique; she stands 5’9” in height and weighs about 129lbs. Adriana normally wears her favourite costume which is a quite extravagant, though simple-cut corseted dress that emphasises her curvy, feminine figure. When travelling Adriana also wears a long dark cloak or a heavy woolen shawl.

Background:
Adriana was born into a family of circus performers who toured the towns and cities of Greece as part of The Great Athens Circus Company. She spent her entire childhood immersed in this bizarre and fantastic world, surrounded by actors, dancers, dare devils, musicians and other various performers. Adriana was primarily a dancer and acrobat; she combined her skills and love for animals to become the Company’s most accomplished trick rider by the time she was fifteen and wowed audiences with her death defying acts from as far as Odessus to Olympia.
However, two years ago Adriana’s family were all killed while residing in the town of Pella which was raided one night by the neighbouring warlord Sinteres and his army. Only Adriana and a handful of other villagers survived the attack as Pella was burnt to the ground by the rampaging warriors.
Adriana was overcome with grief at the death of her parents and the loss of her friends. She grew very troubled and angry, training herself in various forms of combat to enable Adriana to avenge the death of her family while continuing to travel around the various towns and cities of Greece in search of Sinteres and his army.
All of Adriana’s energies and talents have been employed in this relentless search for Sinteres and her quest for revenge. However, Adriana still maintains her love for the stage and occasionally meets up with fellow performers and bohemians, combining their skills to put on shows in exchange for food and shelter.
Skills & Abilities:
Adriana is a skilled acrobat and horseback rider making her physically very strong, agile and limber. She is also a talented performer, she can act and dance and also sing very beautifully. Adriana isn't a trained warrior although she is quite skilled with several weapons such as sword and quarterstaff, she is also a proficient archer.
While her continued dedication to her art is a tribute to her circus days, since the death of her family, Adriana has grown considerably more serious in her approach to life. She can be quite cynical and pessimistic towards the subject of human nature. As a result Adriana has a dark side to her character that can be seen as destructive - this fuels her need for revenge.

Adriana owns a black Arabian horse called Abhay (meaning fearless), she has had Abhay since she was a little girl and still bears the scar from where she threw her when she was five years old. Adriana also owns a few costumes from her circus days amongst these are that of a fine gentlewoman and also an Arab. She also carries various items of survival such as a knife, blankets and a little food. Apart from these objects Adriana wears a pendant that used to belong to her mother and also carries a quarterstaff for self-defence.
