Okay I saw this posted on another board and it's cool to see peoples responses
There is only 24 hours left before the world ends (an asteroid the size of Texas is heading towards us) what do you do with your last 24 hours?
remember it is most likely that nothing will be running no movies no power nothing (you wouldn't wanna work so would anyone else)
And also in that time period you have the chace to watch one last episode of Buffy/Angel (only 1) What 1 do you watch?

here's what I'd do
well to tell you the truth I be one of the people that wouldn't be able to believe/accept it I'd probably be out looting for long lasting food products and digging a bomb shelter with a stolen backhoe it would be a group effort with anyone I could convince to join me (I'm sure there would be many)
the ep of Buffy/Angel I'd watch would be: Hush because it's one of my favorites and also it would also be a good one to calm me down and give me some perspective on the rioting/looting that would be going on around me
how did I do?

Well, I wouldn't watch Buffy. But if I had that extra hour, it would without a doubt be the musical. And maybe I'd die thinking, Where do we go from here?
I think this is interesting because, if we're all going to die, I have to consider what everyone else is doing to. If I choose to spend my last day with someone, would that someone spend his or her last day with me? Would I spend it with my brother, or would I feel obligated to go visit my mother so she wouldn't die alone? That would suck. I wouldn't want to spend it with my mother (no offense, Mom).
I'd want to see my girlfriend. But what if she took off before I got there? I guess that would reveal the strength of our relationship.
Knowing me, I'd probably spend a lot of time fretting over all my fuckups. Then I'd jack off (if my treacherous girlfriend decided that her family was more important than four years of dating). Then I'd quit smoking just so I could say SCREW IT and have a cigarette. Then I'd probably walk around the neighborhood and witness the insanity. People freaking out, breaking things, screaming out confessions.
Then the END would come.
I don't think I'd be able to say it any better than Tom Hanks in Joe vs the Volcano. I'd say (paraphrase), "Dear God, though I don't know your name, thank you for my life. Thank you for my life."
Either that or I'd go out singing:

Hmmm...
My last day on Earth. I would want to spend it somewhere in the wild just goofing off with my kids. I think I would take them up to the mountains and just wander around looking at the beautiful world we live in and never take enough time to really just be in. I would walk with my sons and think about how lucky I am to have had the oppurtunity to know them.
As for Buffy, if I had that hour to spare, I think I would have to choose "The Body". It would put things into perspective.

Apparently this scenario has some basis
A few weeks back an big chunck of space rock (Big enough to wipe us out anyway) passed by Earth aparantly NASA recons they didn't know abt it until it had passed YEAH RIGHT that woulda been the type of info they would hold back from the general public to stop mayhem

I think I'd just pretend there's no asteroid and die pretending to not notice it.
As for Buffy, I'd watch Musical... This can be my last happiest moment before I die..

Hmm! If i'm about to die the death of an ants, and i only had 24 hours left to live...i guess i'd have a sudden sense of now or never!
If it were to happen now while i dont have any commitments to anyone person, id want to bungi jump, sky dive (basically live whats left of my life more on the edge (i've always wanted to)), and let everyone i know how much i loved them! But then there's the fact that these opportunities mightn't be available because these people would have things themselves they wanted to do! In which case id sit on a hill and watch the asteroid as it continued on its course and think about the good things that have been available to me and happened in my life!
Id also possably (being a mad simpsons fan aswell) sing "que-sera" and hope that the asteroid will just break up in the worlds atmosphere and strike the ground no bigger than a chiwowa's head :)
As for that hour i manage to find to watch my last buffy episode in, i guess it would also have to be "Once More With Feelin"! Love the class act!

If I had one day...and I was going to watch one episode...I'd travel to Hollywood and find the Mutant Enemy staff and ask them what did they have plannned for the final episode ever of Buffy.
I figure I've seen all the other ones but I would just have to know how it was going to end.

I'd probably first faint for the next 23 hours after hearing the news then wake up and find out I only have 1 more hour to go, then i'd probably say "What the heck.." and go to sleep in my nice cozy bed...

Hate being in the habit of immediatly thinking up objections, but depending on how long you party before the end of the world, it might not take that much ability. Keeping coherent speaking ability, on the other hand... :D

I have to admit that my favourite episode is probably 'pangs' so i would be watching that as my last episode. although as for my last day on earth... i doubt i would be spending it watching buffy. If i was going to die I'd probably either jump of something (high) or sit waiting for it with my family. Pangs, along with the reast of season four (essept riley) rocks. Spike was totally at his best then. ok shutting up...

After watching that movie where that asteroid collides with the Earth - supposedly wiping out all life but in the end half the population survives just by climbing to the top of a little piddly hill!
Well in that case I'd just get everyone I cared about to climb the nearest hill - well the tallest hill. The meteor would hit, a few waves would wipe out some major city's and then afterwards the water would subside and we'd carry on as usual - well, minus half the population.
