I promised this would go up, and so it shall. As you all already know, Lord Delancre is the man with the plan (and the nasty virus) this season. He is the current First Elder (or head) of the Watcher's Council. He is also quite mad.
For anyone wanting to use Delancre directly, I just have a couple of guidelines to go by. First and foremost, remember two very important things when writing Delancre. One, he's very charming, a gentleman with excellent manners and breeding. He is handsome and well bred. He believes that he is very nearly perfect, and that everyone he meets is taken in by his charm. The second thing to remember is that he's totally crazy. He has a terrifying temper, which he sometimes can barely restrain and he believes he is within his right to kill, maim, torture, or otherwise abuse just about anyone below him (which is everyone.)
Delancre is also completely deviant. He has a near obsession with female demons. He gets off on dominating them in every way, including sexually. Delancre does try to hide this from others, though, as he's aware that his perversions might be distasteful to other members of the Council and those he works closely with.
Delancre has many, many underlings working for him. There are the Watcther's who are divided up into many areas, from prophecy and research to actual fighting units, and his personal staff of scientists and the like at the Isla Nublada compound, and of course, his army of demon hybrids who have been trained, psychologically and physically altered, and who are led by the Slayer, Anabella. She is his general, and she is loyal to both Delancre and his cause. Aside from Ana, the army consists of any demons you might want to use. Feel free to run with that.
As for Hyde 232 (that's the official designation for the virus), Alessa will be bringing it back with her when she escapes from Isla Nublada. Once you've had contact with her or someone else who has been infected by her, then your character can be infected as well. The virus works in two separate ways, affecting the lymbic system to make the person less inhibited and at the same time corrupting the mana of an individual. Only characters with mana can be affected, and if you don't wish your character to be affected, that' fine. As with any virus, certain individuals will have natural immunities. That's just how virus' work. Others may be unaffected because of something particular in their nature. Feel free to get creative here, both with contracting or not contracting the virus.
Ok, that's all I can think of off the top of my head, so...If you have any questions, feel free to fire away.

Yes, I was just thinking about this the other day... but, what is our cure for the virus? I know we haven't even begun the 4th season, but I think that we really should have a solid idea on how our characters are going to be cured.

Wasn't the draining of the mana one of them?
Ambrose Delancre and Hyde 232
Yes, I remember that. But, how will their mana be drained? If it is by a person, who will have the honor of doing it? I personally would like to have Yolanda, Adriana's grandmother, do it. But if anyone else has any other ideas, then ignore my suggestion.

the cure will be two fold, a physical aspect, which removes the virus from the lymbic system and a purging of the mana, which will leave the characters without their abilities for a short period of time while it replenishes itself. at the end of the season, when the cure has been administered, delancre will make his move and we will have to fight him off, with some of our number left as mere mortals
at least, that's how i think we've decided to handle it...

Nikolai will actually have, because of the fact that he's psychologically half-Xangyarj and going through the finding, a small ability to resist the virus. Just something to note that could be usefull is discovery or treatment of the virus.
