Things to download in Kazaa...

Many of us have Zazaa, we use it to download episodes (i don't anymore, cuz once i tried, got one episode in 46 days...not complaining as my video shops now gt buffy tapes, woo hoo...).

Anywayz i thought i'd start a thread where different types of downloads can be recommended. Here i'll recommend a few:

I found this really good video mix of buffy and angel under a song. Its called "Loose It" and its a video, the song is lukins and the video is of the last two episodes of season 2. Its short, but really good.

A hilarious buffy and angel parody is the "Poofy the vampire slayer". Many of you may have caught it on tv, i dunno, i found it on the web. Anthony Stewart makes a guest appearance in it. The file i got is 9k big, it was a video but for some reason the video wouldn't show and i had to settle listening to it. Still it was really funny.

Another funny stand up comedian is Bill Engvall. If you can try to download his full cd of "Here's your sign", its really big, and its audio only, about 45k i think, but its worth the wait.

That reminds me of a song, i have no clue which language its in, maybe latin? spainish? i dunno, but its good to listen to, nice and slow. Its called Ameno, i kinda forgot the name of the group, i think it was "Quick silver"....

The show in question is a British tv show called V Graham Norton, kind of like Letterman I guess only increadibly camp. The episode was aired sometime last year and I can vouch for its hilarity. (And of course I'm not biased just because it happened to star the delectable Anthony Stewart Head)

Graham dresses up like Buffy (sorry Poofy) to fight the evil vampire Betty (who is a long running guest of the show - a 70-year old OAP I might add) aided by the trusty watcher that we all know and love. The sketch is only about 3-4 minutes long, but it's hard to resist laughing at ASH being described as a choking hazard!

Here's a screen shot so you can see what you missed Saadia! :D

Oh, thank you sooo much lou, I really wanted to know how Graham Norton loked like in the wig. Hehe, very cute...

BTW, if anyone knows how i can download the clip and be able to watch it please tell me, i tried looked but found nothing :(

Ok, heres more songs for your listening pleasure:

Let it Shine, by the Chicago Mass Choir, albums called "You Love me", there are many of these songs but be sure to try and get this one, its really nice and sweet.

For really heavy metal stuff how about: Let the bodies hit the floor by Drowning pool, very ummm nice...

for some nice urdu (hee hee) try Manwa, by Ali Noor. You may not understand it, but maybe you'll like the music.....

And for a nice instrumental, try Rods and Cones from one of me favorite groups "the blue man's group".

Hmm, thats all for now, i'll add more to the list later.

this is less of a recommendation (as most of what I download is music, and I'm not sure what I listen to is what many people are interested in e.g. WIERD alternative music.) as a request. I am really looking for an mp3 editer sofware, like where you can kareokeise a track. I can't find one (free, as I am very cheap) anywhere. If anyone knows where I might go about downloading one, I would be most greatful. Thankyou.

Booj.

p.s. if any of you are interested in wierd music, I recomend HIM (his Infernal Majesty) who are a cool Finnish group I am currently pbsessed with. They aren't very heavy, although their stuff varies. I love "the Heart of Darkness" and "Your Sweet 666" - which aren't as evil and satanical as is implied. Okies, I'm done.

Boojy- i downloaded the heart of darkness, and me becoming some what a listener of heavy metal, i really liked it :D. Love the music, though the lyrics were hard to make out but i really liked it, you've got a really nice choice in music. And so do you Shaun. I also got a chance to download the "Disenchanter" and the music was really dreamyand soothing, i liked that a lot too :D.

ok, heres more recommendations.

Good soundtracks to listen out for are "Another Day" by Dream Theater. I found it that listening to it the first time i'd quite like it. But listening to it over i really love the lyrics. Its from the movie, "Die Another Day".

Another good soundtrack is the popular "Hero" by Chad Kreoger, from Spider Man. I love this song...as you may know from my ummm previous glass cracking singing...

Another good Buffy parody is the "SNL- Buffy and Seinfield crossover". Again many of you may have seen this in a late night show that is never shown in kuwait...in this there is a guest from one of these series...lets see if you can guess who

One of my favorite oldies is the "Monster Mash" by Bobby Picket (i think). I think its quite funny and believe it was a hit a long while ago.

If you like instrumental try "Dancing Spirits" its a soundtrack from the game "Castle Vania" the artist in Kazaa shows up as "Castlevania: SotN".

Let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the....FLOOOOOOR! Ahem...sorry, have a thing about that song.

Okay, some songs I have been very obsessed with recently are Guano Apes - 'You Can't Stop Me' ('Big in Japan' by them is also very good). I've been really obsessed with Evanescence at the moment too, IMO 'Bring me to Life' and 'Tournique't are their best. They're kinda like Linkin Park with a female vocalist. Another good metal band is Kidney Thieves, my favourite's are 'Before I'm Dead' (from the Queen of the Damned soundtrack) and 'Mustard Seed'.

I'm downloading most recommendations made and i am enjoying each and every one of thee, thanks you guys

Alice-glad to know you liked it, If you like that song then download the first 10 to 20 mins of the movie "The One" with Jet Lee in it. He does this fight scene with this song as the background with is AMAZING special effects. In the first 20 mins, you may also find aother fight scene on the song "Get donw with the sickness" by Disturbed, another really good heavy metal song (also known as the "ohh waa ah ah" song).

Another song i came across is an old one, used a lot in ad's, its "You sexy thing" by Barry White, nice music.

Saadia - don't even try telling either me or Alice about 'down with the Sickness'. WE were both on a school trip in belgium and had been listening to the quen of the damned soundtrack. We were both encredibly hyper and were going round just randomly screeching "OHW AH AH AH AH!". CLASSY song.

Urm. What can i recommend? For total space out, relaxing tunes I would recommend "all is full of love" by Bjork (this is a gorjus song) "Gorecki" by Lamb and "going going gone" by stars (if anyone can get a copy of this, please send it to me! I lsot my copy when a cd of mine died). Also "strange and beautiful" by Aqualung (the one of the VW beetle ad) is good.

For Trip-Hop, download 6 Underground by Sneaker Pimps and "snow white" and/or "Easy way down" by snowpony.

On a slightly more jumpy uppy downy note:
As I fan of Nirvana, I would recommend "Heart Shaped Box", as it is my favourite song.
"Slitwrist Theory" by 36 crazyfists is a bit swearing, by the singer has a beautiful quivering voice. sans the swearing, this is very cool.

If you liek nickleback (chad kreoger) i would download "yanking out my heart". Other than that i'm not a great fan of nickleback. Default are sound-alikes. "wating my time" by them is v. good.

"the fragile" by Nine Inch Nails is soo cool. I'm doing an illutration to it at the mo. wierd. cool. and very sensitive for Nine Inch Nails.

"hope leaves" by Opeth is good but rather sad and depressing.

nvrmind. Happy listenings.

Just a single music in Kazaa, that a friend of mine recommended me. Its called "Shoots and Ladders" or also called "Bagpipes" by Korn. Its really nice, starting off by amazing bagpipes and then the heavy metal guitar starts a-drumming and then the guy with the creepy voice sings
