This link should more properly belong in the writers forum stuff. Becasue under this harless looking link lies 25 pages (at 50 posts per page) of some of the most brilliant parody and homage you have ever seen.

Parody? Homage? to what? To the "Lord of the Rings" fair siblings.

It started as a simple idea "What if another author had written Lord of the Rings?" and took on an aspect of a juggernaut. And I implore you to not read this in a place where laughing out loud is frowned upon.

Fantastic stuff. Read, read read!
