Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you know that, despite my lack of involvement lately, I am still here, still alive and still interested in participating. Aside from having a very heavy workload at school right now (t-minus 3 months until I'm finished), I've had some developments in my personal life that have been taking up a whole lot of my time (really good developments, no worries). Anyway, next week is reading week and while I do have a lot of work to do, I am also hoping to put together another post for the game.

Okay, so that obviously didn't pan out. :roll: I got the post about a 3rd of the way done, but I had some deadlines shift on me and spent just about every day of my reading week either writing or researching or both :? School always gets in the way of my fun :lol:

This seems like a good time to let you know I may have an idea for getting Daye back on the board (for a bit anyway) and I will try next weekend, after the wedding festivities are at an end, to possibly get a post up.

Hey guys,
I know I speak for a few of us when I ask if we intend to get through this season lol. I mean I know we have had dead periods in the past, but this is a pretty long dry spell. I dont really know what else to say but ask if everyone intends to actually sit down and get this beast we call LABN moving again (and I mean actually do it and not intend to do it lol)
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

For me it's not even the slowness of the game (which is slithering on it's belly right now) it's also the lack of any real communication in the forums - apart from the occassional WAG entry etc.
I know for my part that I'd be really sad to see LABN wither and die, but apart from Ally, Adam, Shaun and myself there doesn't appear to be many more people even signing in. :evil:
I would really like to keep writing, but obviously it needs more than the interaction of 4 people.

I agree with Lou and Shaun. Nobody's writing and almost nobody's even reading either. Part of the joy of writing is knowing that others read your posts!!! When was the last time somebody took the time to write a 'Feedback corner' post? and i'm sure there have been good posts since then.
And i'm just talking about LAbn, maybe one or two have read one or two LAbn posts... but what about SW? I'm really proud of what we've done in SW, but it's going completely unnoticed. And it's goooooood.

I read the board. i realy do. But it is often jut before eating dinner or in the morning before going to work. I don't have time to lavish on it as I used to. And I lament the loss. But when four of the most prolific writers - Robin, Heather, Kris and myself have all stopped writing it means that it is up to everyone else to keep it going. But you don't have to do it alone.
Recruit, build, restructure. I need to finish the rebuild of the sites (which , sadly, full time work and marraige has killed my free time to do much with on LNG) and I need to get things back to the point where you CAN recruit people to write.
Take over! I'm happy to be the support network and let others run the show.
But I always always always read every post. So if nobody else is reading - I am.

I'm in from time to time, but it's the end of my senior year, and I've got a lot going on...not to mention my job at a video store (scary thing, me getting a job. Just another sign of the apocalypse). I log on and post, but I'm not on MSNM or any other sort of messenger often, so it's mostly the occasional post. I'd like to help it keep going, though. Anything that I could do, I would.

I read every new post to the SW board (at least, I had been -- turns out I missed the last two because I didn't receieve new post notifications). I just finished my final assignment for school last week, so I've been trying to recharge the batteries lately. I have a post I started a couple weeks ago that's about half done. I'm hoping to finish that up in the next few days... but I'll have to go through the newer posts and make sure what I've already written still fits in with what's going on.

It's rare, like this morning when everyone else is asleep, but I do log on (sometimes at dead times at work even) and try to play board catch up when I can. I feel so frustrated sometimes because I have lost touch with all of you and with the game. Believe me, I miss talking to you and God I miss writing...anything. I just can't seem to make it fit. Even when I think I'll have a free few hours on a weekend, something always seems to come up now. And weeknights, forget it. At this point, I can't manage to cook a meal for my family, let alone sit down and string a few coherent words together. No matter how much I'd like to.
Has anyone seen a cloning machine on ebay I could get for cheap? That would solve all of my problems.
Until then, I swear I want to manage my time and allot a few LABN hours a week. I'm working on it. But keep writing, cause I keep reading.
