Having started to make travel plans for the Londaon Cast party we have discovered a few things...
1) It costs more than TWICE as much to travel in June-Aug as it does to travel in September.
2) Everyone from the US who was planning to go except for Heather and Myself has pulled out.
3) The original plans for the CP are already changing to be smaller than we had originally thought.
so,...September? October?
Amanda (or anyone who sees her online please ask!) can you and Jen meet Sept/Oct instead?
Robin what does your schedule for Sept/Oct look like?
Jamie, how is Sept/Oct for you?

Please read and reply to this by Monday and let us know!!!! I would hate to get no response and think that noby has any objections when in fact it means we can't connect. If nobody can do it later, then fine, we'll go AS PLANNED without changes. But if we don't hear anything at all, then we'll likely get all screwed up.
so if you see anyone from the UK online be sure to point them at this thread so they can respond.

October is good for me. I have leave booked that I wouldn't otherwise be using so feel free to change the dates. Of course do remember that Heather will spend the whole holiday complaining about the crappy weather...

Well I did say it would be much more expensive July/August (since those are probably the only months we have decent weather hehe) but hey, I just want to see you guys! Actually September/October would be better for me since with all my health problems I haven't been able to work at all since leaving uni 8O and my money situation is looking kinda grim. At least this gives me a few more months to scrape some money together.

Well, the weather's not what we're having the CP for anyway. :) Originally the July/August date was for those who had school committments - but since those people aren't going anymore it seemed there was a chance to have the CP at a time when the country wouldn't be chock full of tourists. Of course, that all depends on whether Sept/Oct is still okay for the rest of you.
I've spoken to Amanda on msn just this morning and she's fine with a later date. She and Jen will be in the UK for two years, so it makes little difference to them.
So far everyone who's replied is good with a shift to Sept or Oct. All we have left to hear from are Matt, Saadia, and anyone else who is thinking of coming.
C'mon guys, don't be shy. Give us a reply. :)

Sorry you guys, but I'll have to say no, mainly because of two reasons:
1. School (it truly is a bitch).
2. The fact that my parents wouldn't be to keen on me taking a plane to London by myself.

Whoops this one completely slipped under my radar.
Okay, at the moment any time beyond June 30th (ie, last exam day) is so far away I really can't even consider it. Getting through this last monthish of college followed by a month of exams is going to be hell. Then after that I'm going to have to look for a new job, get my driving theory and practice test sorted, get a car, make all the arrangements for my birthday (i have a big family. its going to be difficult), sort everything out for university (and when i mean everything, i mean everything. I'm going to be moving away from home (to like, the other side of the country) so there's a fair amount of sorting to be done). Which, incidently, I start at on around October 8th, so any time around then is going to be slap-bang full of desperate last minute arrangements (i get a lot of those) and goodbyes (read: parties. lots and lots of partying).
On top of that I'm planning on going away somewhere for a last weekend with the guys around august/septemberish that needs arranging and may clash. I'm also going to be on holiday for two weeks. So money-wise, I'm going to be pretty low too.
So...it looks like after all I may not be able to make this :( Sorry guys, but that end of the year is looking so hectic right now (then again, so is this end of the year...)
