Okay...so I"m not exactly helping, but I've noticed that FL is very Dead lately. I don't want FL ending up like Mythic so...any ideas how to rejuvinate the site. Obviously we could write more (and I could write something since I haven't written in ages...) but...any other ideas?
(and stupid Shaun is no help :x He's willing to let FL die. I know you all are better than that)

rejuvinating fl
One thing that will help is when the current season of LABN ends eventually. There's a couple of players over there who won't comit to anything over here because they're focused on that (this despite the fact that we're now 2 weeks overdue for end of season, and going to have to take time to do writing there to finish it).
Dave and I have made some plans as well, though with us it's the question of finding time at the moment. I've not been able to write LABN in a while, let alone FL, just because of summer courses.

I'm afraid Adam's right. I know for myself I've been flat out just trying to stay on top of LABN at the moment, and now that I'm working it's become even harder to find time. But I don't want to leave poor Ela comatose forever. I do have plans for her, and my mid-season on LABN should be (keeps fingers crossed) fairly quiet which will free me up to actually do some FL writing.
It's not dead, just sleeping... :)
My Two Cents
I agree, I'm not ready to give up on FL just yet I think everyone has put in too much hard work to just let it die a slow death. And Heather and Adam are right of course, right now I've been flat out keeping up with LABN that I (sadly) haven't had much time to focus on FL, though like Heather I'm hoping that come Midseason I'll have more time to devote to FL (actually I'm pretty certain of that fact hehe).
Of course I realise that as part of the admin it should be my job to keep people interested and keep the gameboard ticking over, but in my defense BOTH my co-admin have seemingly deserted me (:P @ Shaun and Ric) which is why I delegated some of my mod responsibilities to Robin and Adam.
But as I said before, I fully intend to devote more time to FL once the current LABN season has ended. In the meantime I still check the forums everyday, play the games and stuff, keep up with the little bit of timelining that needs doing and other general maintenance. :D

Hey...don't kill this game off. I have stuff...even one post partially written. Like all the others, right now I'm just too involved in the LABN storyline. It's become something of a monster, but we're coming to the end of the regular season rapidly now. Bear with us a couple more weeks, and I'll start a mad dash of writing for this site. I have an idea already bubbling on the back burner and a villain to write up and everything...plus I've got a subplot brewing with adam. FL is not dead...just in hibernation for a bit.

Oh its isn't dead yet folks...heck it is only coughing a little...sheesh.
I have two collabs in mid-post although my work schedule is such that I have very little time to actually write except on the few weekends I can scrape some time together to do it.
Ally and Robin are busy folks and add me being busy and you have a recipe for phone-tag. Adam and I have talked long-term plotlines and coould be having a lot of interesting stuff coming up.
As for LABN, I purposefully made a character that was a peripheral player so I could devote some time to this game (among other things) and an only now starting to realize some benefit from that. Don't expect your LABN schedules to lighten up becasue it is Midseason, folks. It won't.
I am about to the point where I just devote one night a week to nothing but LABN, although that doesn't seem to be practical either. I don't have any answers, yet.
But at the root of my thinking is the admonition to not over-commit your character to the plotline. If you do you will get sucked totally into the story and won't be able to easily escape.
