Description
Shakti Miller is an attractive young woman who in unguarded moments displays an icy, almost inhuman demeanour. This is however rare, an arch manipulator of people she normal displays whatever mannerisms she deems necessary to get what she wants. In pursuit of her goals she will use whatever means she has to without scruple or inhibition.

History
Shakti Miller was a postgraduate student of Archaeology who in 2002 was nearing the end of the studies. While on a dig in Persia in September 2002 she uncovered a strange metallic artefact. By nightfall the same day all her colleagues were dead and Shakti herself was in a coma.

The human woman Shakti Miller died on 22nd September 2002. The being that now inhabits her form is actually an alien intelligence created by the nanite clade that had been the artefact she had discovered. Shakti is now an agent for the Bakarran Empire. Her objective the complete destruction of the human species, failing that she is to stop Humanity’s evolution to a Meta species by any means possible.

To this end in early 2003 she stole three Soviet Nuclear warheads. 1 she sold to unnamed terrorists who targeted the Sydney Commonwealth Heads of State conference. A second warhead was sold to the environmental terrorist group Earthrage. The third warhead’s whereabouts is at this time unknown.

Shakti offered her assistance to Earthrage in their attempt to destroy the Hoover Dam using the warhead she had sold them. Unfortunately the Metahuman Gabriel interrupted the attack. Shakti survived but the Earthrage terrorists did not. Despite this Shakti used the wealth she had gained from the sale of the nukes along with her unique talents into a position within the organisation.

Six months later Shakti is in total control of Earthrage having removed her rivals and reorganised it’s structure. Its communications are secure thanks to Shakti’s alien expertise its operatives armed with powerful weapons created by Shakti herself. The organisation is ready to start a carefully orchestrated reign of terror.

Powers.

Neuro-Enhancements
Shakti’s brain function has been altered and augmented by the nanites now controlling her. Her senses are at the limit of human acuity with addition machine processing allowing her to perceive stimuli a normal human would ignore. She also has perfect recall and is capable of processing data very rapidly.

Skeleto-muscular Enhancements

While Shakti remains essentially human her nanites have been able to improve somewhat upon nature. Her bones have been laced with high-density ultra strong polymers while woven through her muscles are myomers, with additional actuators at the joints. She is still very vulnerable to soft tissue trauma and her body can exert more force than it can safely withstand but she remains much stronger and tougher than most would expect

Techno-Creation.
The nanites within Shakti have a limited number of templates for high technology items that exceed anything Earth currently possesses. Known templates include a variety of high-energy particle beam weapons as well as a biomimetic polymer suit which provides excellent protection against a variety of threats. Some form of communications device is also available.

To create the devices Shakti must gather the appropriate raw materials together. She then extrudes a tendril and passes a number of her own nanites to turn the raw materials into the finished item. The process takes about an hour depending on the size and complexity of the item.

Resurrection.
Despite the improvements made to Shakti’s survivability it is conceivable that she would be killed by Metahuman action or other overwhelming force. In that case the nanite clade is capable of exiting her dead body and infecting a new host. Even destruction of a significant portion of the clade would not prevent this as the clade is capable of limited self-regeneration to replace lost nanites. Overall 90% of the clade must be destroyed to ensure it’s dissolution.
