La Perle De La Nuit
La Perle De La Nuit is located on a busy, bustling street in the downtown district of the vastly populated metropolis Vega City. The outside of the club is a marvel in itself; along the main wall that faces the street, there are four large windows that each expose small enclosed rooms (like the display window of a mall). Two of these windows house an interesting display of mannequins wearing avant-garde club wear; portrayed to be dancing away the night, the mannequins are meant to incite onlookers to venture into the club and experience for themselves the thrills “La Perle” offers. The two other windows display large screens that broadcast the live action from the dance floors within the club.
Entering the building, one immediately is greeted by a large reception desk manned by an impeccable well-dressed staff of late-teen models. To the right is the coatroom and to the left is the door that leads to the public sector (dance floors and bars). However, an inconspicuous elevator door behind the reception desk also leads to the higher levels used to entertain the mutant and super human V.I.Ps.
The public ground floors are extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. Immediately after checking in, one enters a large oval room. The perimeter of the room is a continuous bar, where one can order drinks and other “refreshments.” The slightly submerged center is a dance floor with room enough for several hundred customers. Exactly in the center of the dance floor is a large podium where a male and female dancer entice the rest of the crowd while sexually grinding and dancing to powerful music and exciting light shows.
Flights of stairs also lead to a second floor; which is divided into two separate parts. One part is a shadowy, secretive arrangement of couches where people can indulge their sexual desires, and the second part is disk shaped dance floor that is suspended above the first dance floor and accessible by two bridges connecting it to the second floor. The hole in the middle provides room for the two podium dancers; from this suspended dance floor one can see all the action on the first floor and dance away the night.
An impressive staff of male and female models mingle with the crowd every night. Some dress up as mythical characters like Hercules or medusa; others are simply entertaining drag queens or scantily clad eye-candy. Nevertheless, they are all their to ensure that everyone is partying, spending money, and having a good time.
The higher, private floor is a classy lounge with many expensive paintings, exotic plants, and comfortable couches. There are several tables where individuals can enjoy a meal or engage in candid conversation. Several waiters continuously walk around, offering the guests drinks, cigarettes, snacks, or drugs and along the walls are several monitors broadcasting the action from the dance floors bellow. At one end of the room, a door leads to a hall way lined with windows displaying young gorgeous men and woman that can be selected to perform any desired sexual activities in one of the private lofts. At the other end of the room, a door leads to a small dance floor surrounded by chairs, couches and bars where the elite of the city can dance the night away after a good meal – and a bump of cocaine.
Finally, Sebastian Drake also has a private office hidden deep within the club. From here, he can monitor all the activities within his club and have quick access to both the top and bottom floors. The office also provides him with a location where he can quickly escape and avoid being detected by an intruder and with a safe place where he can lure and then “interrogate” any members of his club.
