Not a complaint, believe me. I'm sure we'll mostly agree that there's aspects of horror that fall into the "not for under 18" set. There's some things in my head that would be better served explicitly. Looking at Clive Barker, Brian Lumley, and Stephen King as examples, graphic horror and splatter-core can be just as enjoyable as erotica. Well, ok, more along the style of Barker than Lumley, but you get the idea.
So, what's the verdict, graphic violence and splatter punk on this as well?

Horror forum as well?
Well I know there's post by Dave in here that is graphic in the sense that it shows some pretty nasty photos (road accidents that kind of thing). Though the Adult Forum has kinda become a forum for the more explicit soft porn that gets sort of censored out for the gameboard, it's not JUST for post with a sexual theme, but anything that is likely to upset a less mature audience or cause offense such as excessive and/or graphic depiction of violence.

Mmmm, this is just the kind of questions I should answer, isnt it? Blame it on Dave, for talking me into this.
I enjoy horror too, being a big fan of Stephen King, not so much Clive Barker’s although I read some of his stuff, and in a much less supernatural way of an Uruguayan author called Horacio Quiroga (should you find his works translated I recommend him).
However, re reading Sherlynn’s introduction post, I think we could treat horror in the same way we do erotica. Just not horror for the horror itself, but if it is surrounded by a story we’ll welcome it.
Sherlynn’s words are quite exemplary:
If we replace the bit about erotica - pornography by horror literature - horror spree, and screwing by killing and maiming, splattering blood, exploding brains... etc. I think her words apply perfectly well, and she was the original Moderator of this forum. :D
Horror forum as well?
Absolutely as far as story-based. I mean, hell, even Hellbound Heart (Barker, what Hellraiser was based on) and Necroscope (Lumley) have great storylines.

Yes, there was a post Dave did that dealt with the aftermath of Vrithetek getting free of Victor for a while and running amok. In the main gameboard he just used the descriptions of the photos, but the photos themselves (with the game post around them) were posted in this forum.
If you're interested, you'll find it in the thread "Photo Album [WARNING!! This is EXTREMELY Graphic!]". It fits in with the story that happened during Season Two, and comes chronologically just after Vicasha split back out into Victor and Tash.

Anyone else think it's funny that Heather took almost a whole year to reply in this thread?

Uh huh. I think someone got bored and went thread hunting.
Horror forum as well?
 I didn't look at the year - I just saw the date of the 'last post' on the index page and thought I'd check it out. I figured it had to be new since 'earwigfleshfactory' was a new name, and the topic looked totally unfamiliar. Of course, I forgot that Niko has been with us for a while already...

No problem, really. Actually, do we want to extend this adult forum to be used for the other games?
Horror forum as well?
Yeah, well since Dave reorganised the boards, the Adult Forum comes under the 'General Writing' aspect of LateNightGames rather than just LA By Night. So you could use this forum for ANY of the games, or just generally.
