Anyone else having problems with MSN Messanger? I just had several people vanish off my list who recently added me.

I've just been having people disappear; it may be the protocols since I use pidgin to log in. Either way, my frustration quotient from trying to troubleshoot this at home has now reached 7/10 (I need to update Service Pack 2, really? I.... already did that!).

ok i think I got it figured out. Turned out that I only had SP1, not SP2. And amazingly, the new SP freed up like 15 gigs of space for me.
