As part of a more-or-less throwaway line in an earlier post, I had Alison mention that she's got book signings almost every day this week, and a book launch party on Saturday night. Kaarin, Ally and I were just chatting and it occurred to me that Alison's agent may have decided that a goth nightclub would be a great place for the party, since it has vampire overtones, etc.
The agent, like Alison, has no clue that real vampires exist. So on Saturday night there's a party at the Graveyard. Alison will be there, as Lucinda Graves. Pablo could be there as her date. Jasmin owns the club, so that's a no-brainer. Evelyn's her friend, ditto. Cadee could be dragged along by Anne who wouldn't miss a Lucinda Graves party for the world. Logan and Meredith might find reasons for being there.
It's also the first time our player characters encounter a Revenant first-hand. Yep, there's a murder in the club - or possibly nearby (since the club itself is a bit public). Perhaps our Revenant spots their target (someone they personally hate, Ally suggested) and might follow them out to the alley to kill them.
We can work out those details. The main thing is there's a Lucinda Graves party at the Graveyard on Saturday night, and we'll have a Revenant appearance.

II'm ready
Well, for me, I wont have anymore posts until Saturday. And, I know the scene with Logan and Meredith and Logan and Cadee are already done :). So, you have my go.
I'd be happy to do the
I'd be happy to do the opening post as a collab. Alison and her agent would probably turn up early to the club to get settled, etc. before the launch party, so it makes sense that Kaarin and I would collab that to get things kicked off.
I do have at least one solo post I need to make before the party - probably set on Friday. I still have the agent to write up as an NPC, too. And Dave has said he wants to do a couple more Carmine posts, but they can slot in anytime as long as we all notice them and go back to read them. :) I hope to get my stuff done tomorrow morning while Dave's out at meetings, so with any luck Kaarin and I may be able to start writing on Sunday.
I've nothing dire that needs
I've nothing dire that needs to be posted for Evalyn (it's been a pretty slow and relaxing week for her). Will probably do a getting ready post for Saturday night to take place Saturday day, having a little argument with Yves :)
One thing that occurred to me is that there might be an introduction between Evalyn and Balthazar as well considering the friendship she has with Jasmin.
A note for anyone who's
A note for anyone who's interested: I'd like to have Alison (Lucinda) weave in and out of various aspects of the party at some stage. That might mean I have a small cameo in assorted collabs. If there's a place in any collab you guys are doing where a flying visit from the author would fit in, just PM me and we can do a quick bit and then I'll be on to some other group. I figured I'd be doing lots of mingling. :)
