Well, I've had ideas for a while, but never actually put pen to paper. So now, to begin to establish the necessary boasting buffer which is needed to push me on lest it join the list of failures....
I'm going to do National Novel Writing Month this November. Won't start work until November 1 on the book, and need to get 50,000+ words by the end of it.

Yeah, just type that in and it'll get it. The basic rules:
Start date: 1 November
Finish Date: 30 November
Minimum Word Count: 50,000
Max Preplanning Allowed: One-Week
Special: You may bring all of the research you want to the table. However, the actual writing does not begin until 12:01am of 1 November, and you have to hit 50,000 by midnight 30 November.
These rules to be enforced by a legion of flying guilt-monkeys.

My idea was to write a "novelization" of the end of the LABN universe.
I have an idea and it'll wipe the slate clean. I am going to ask for permission to use everyone's character, although it won't be a collab it'll be the work of just me.
Think of this as my way of giving it all closure.
anyways that is my idea, it may be as I start writing it'll all collpse into something different.

Not a problem on my end, so long as we all swap things after. I've yet to decide which of the myriad of ideas I have to go with, and I probably won't make a final decision until towards the end of Oct-ogre.

On a similar note, I'm getting an idea, and might want to do something based on the FL work. So want to ask everyone's permission to do stuff with characters, orgs, and so on there. No guarantee I'll go with that idea (I have like five, which I'm not doing planning on until October 16th at the earliest, to avoid overplanning), but just might.
