It was very small - only three LNG members - but Shaun and a few of his mates decided to do a one-week road trip down the Eastern US, and they dropped by last night (Wednesday) for dinner and a place to crash.

So we got to meet not only our crazy French Canadian, but three others as well. After a quick phone-call to Ally (which apparently got cut off at one point, but that was after I'd gone off to get changed to go out to dinner), we zapped off for a late supper then we gave them the $2 tour of downtown Annapolis (a bit dead on a Wednesday night, unfortunately), and then back to our place to have a few drinks and just crap on about life in general.

We gave Shaun and his friends (Jon Michael (I hope I spelled that right), Steve and Robert) the highlights of Amanda's 2003 video, then we were treated to Steve's impersonation of an atomic bomb - pretty funny, but I was worried he was going to hurt himself.

I have taken a few snaps, which I will post as soon as I finish the film and get it developed. The guys all had digital cameras and there was even a video camera, so if we're lucky we may get a copy of some of those pics.

Sqweeeee! One more down on our list of people to meet. :D

*goes to check* Hmm, yeah, looks like you did. That's okay, one you left behind his toothpaste, so it's a fair swap. :)

I finally finished off that roll of film (mostly with pics of our towering maple tree that got blasted by lightning :(), so here they are. *drum roll*

Dave & Shaun at the Macaroni Grill

Shaun with Steve, Jon Michael and Robert

Colabn, Superman (does he have a Canadian LABN name, Shaun?) and Melbn.

Never go anywhere without at least one mascot. :)

For those who are interested, this tree was alive and green 48 hours before I took this photo...

I have to admit to a little snickering in the background as you both went "What?" trying to understand each other's accent.

And Heather and I were like, "What? Shaun has a french accent? When did this happen? Where we just too drunk to notice in LA?"

I suspect the answer to that last question is yes.

I did understand Heather... sort of. And was that a French accent? Wow!
