'Brokeback Mountain'
The new film from Academy Award-nominated director Ang Lee. An epic love story set against the sweeping vistas of Wyoming and Texas, Brokeback Mountain tells the story of two young men - a ranch-hand and a rodeo cowboy - who meet in the summer of 1963, and unexpectedly forge a lifelong connection, one whose complications, joys and tragedies provide a testament to the endurance and power of love.Cast overview, first billed only:
Heath Ledger .... Ennis Del Mar
Jake Gyllenhaal .... Jack Twist
Randy Quaid .... Joe Aguirre
Anne Hathaway .... Lureen Newsome
I definitely recommend it. Its a really touching, emotinal story which, luckily enough, avoids pretty much all cliche's (like AIDS etc etc). If you're a crier at movies, you'll definitely need to take a few hankies with you!
If anyone has seen it (or goes to see if after reading this) I'd love to hear what you think about it!
PS: Makes me REALLY thankful that I wasnt born a generation earlier and that I live in Montreal and not southern US

Brokeback Mountain
I just finished watching a trailer for this movie, and it made me cry. I'm definitely thinking a whole box of tissues is going to be mandatory when I go to see it.
